Michael has been a book artist since 1963 when he created his first book as an art student. He has written and illustrated books for both adults and children, as well as printed and published books at his own Penmaen Press . At present, about 200 books, in one way or another, carry his art. Michael's work is found in many collections, and his books have received wide recognition.
