MICHAEL MAKES MOVE Michael 's new studio is in the Hill-McKnight historical district in Springfield, MA. The "City of Homes" is also the home of the Springfield rifle, basketball, and Dr Seuss.
WORK IN PROGRESS 1. Nine wood engravings by McCurdy have been commissioned by the poet Frank Polizzi of Brooklyn to accompany one of the poet's poems. 2. An un-named book in rhyme is in progress featuring 26 colored drawings to form an alphabet book that deals with the fauna found at Walden Pond in the time of Thoreau. 3. McCurdy will create 5 engravings for a book of essays by Edward Hoagland.
